Thanks to all who pledged a goat! Tools Given out to Train Young People.

Today the little boy, Joel, went to the Health Centre to be looked at by a doctor. I have not had feedback on his condition yet. I've left a message with near neighbour to get in contact with one of us after the weekend!

We have enough donations to get at least 2 goats and some maize, to give the family some regular  food. Well done Sophie, Laura, Roger and Steve (Naming the goat 'Mandy' would be a great idea, Steve!). Pictures later in the week.

You have made a life saving difference to this family.

The goat 'photo call' will be fun with their new U.K. identities!

Juma hands out UK tools to carpenters, builders and mechanics
You saw the tools being unpacked earlier this week, well here they are, being given out to work shop managers. They are training young people in trades and they lack tools. There is no practical subjects in school like wood work.
If you have got any redundant claw hammers, planes, hand saws, or any car maintenance equipment, we will send it out to them in Uganda after checking it over. The full list will be published on www.africanvillagesupport.org.uk or later on our Facebook page!

Sorry about the begging page but these people are so humble and sincere when they thank you for the items sent by donors.

Foot Note
Off to pick up Jean from Entebbe tomorrow. (A short little journey!! ) Hence Sunday and Monday are blogless. It will give me time to find nick-names for Mandy and the rest of the herd, growing in size as I write.........
